CMV – Flying Buckets

The concrete Flying Buckets CMV are used for transport of premixed concrete of any consistency class (fluid, plastic, semi-dry and dry) from batching plant to different forming machines or to formwork casting lines. They can have a cylindrical tank with rotational discharge or a tank of different geometries with discharge by means of hydraulically controlled one- or two-valve doors. The sliding can take place both on a two-rail and on a monorail and speed can reach values up to 250m/min.
Depending on the internal distribution needs of prefabrication plant, the rails can be performed with a straight or curved stroke and with uphill or downhill stretches.
The capacity of CMV flying buckets ranges from 0.50m3 to 3.0m3 and they can be operated both by hydraulic motors via a system with proportional valves plus refrigerated circuit and by electric motors feeded by inverters.
Through radio control it is possible to manage the routes and times knowing in real time the exact physical location of the bucket and the working phase.
