MBT – Twin Shaft Batch Mixer with side lower height load facility

With the MBT series we have introduced on the market horizontal double shaft mixers capable of transforming existing dry batching plants into dry & wet plants without having to replace the aggregate belt or the existing cement augers.

In fact, the peculiarity of MBT mixers is that they can be loaded laterally by means of a hydraulically operated door which actually performs the function of a ByPass.

 

When this side door is closed, the plant works with the dry load and the same returns the aggregate coming from the belt towards the underlying loading cone of the concrete mixer.

For this purpose, such door is also equipped with an external coating to prevent wear during dry operation of the concrete mixing plant.

 

On the other hand, when the door is open, the aggregate is conveyed inside the mixer and the batching plant works in the wet version.

 

The application is completed by a ByPass device for the cement unloaded from the auger to be able to directly feed either the truck mixer or the mixer.

 

Another peculiarity of the MBT series mixers is that of having the mixed discharge conveyor with the overall dimensions within the vertical encumbrance of the mixer so that the truck mixer is positioned for loading immediately below the space occupied by the mixing tank.

 

In order to compress the vertical dimensions of the mixer as much as possible, the head walls are made with slots at the lower ends to allow the main beams of the support platform to pass at a height.

In this way, both the structure that supports the mixer and the conveyor for discharging the mixture do not protrude below the overall dimensions of the mixing tank.
