MP – Planetary Mixer

Vertical axis planetary mixers represent the most widespread mixing technology in the production of precast concrete elements but are also successfully used in premixing in medium-small plants of ready concrete for truck mixers, in the packaging of dry premixes, mixes for glass and refractory industry for foundries.

The large diameter mixing vat keeps the mix level low, the adequate number of high-speed blades allows for the production of perfectly homogeneous and high-performance mixes even when additives, fibers and dyes are added.

TRANSMISSION

Power and transmission are performed on the central axis of the machine and supported by the flat cross frame from which the internal box containing the distribution and multiplication gears is also hung. 

 

The epicyclic reduction gear immediately under the electric motor is a commercial unit while the steel box with the multiplication gears is manufactured internally.

In the aforesaid box, in addition to the big bearing, there are only 1, 2 or 3 gear wheels depending on the size of the mixer, the multiplication is therefore extremely simple and of very long duration given the more than generous dimensioning of the gears.

Consequently also the operations of inspection, maintenance and, if necessary, disassembly are extremely simple (there are not numerous gears with cascade technology as with other manufacturers).

MIXING TOOLS

The following image shows the number of mixing stars, fast blades, slow accelerating discharge blades and scraper blades present in the standard version in each mixer and the configurations that can be performed on request.   

HYDRAULIC OPERATED DISCHARGE

For all the sizes in our production programme, the unloading takes place by means of one or more doors controlled by a special electro-hydraulic unit with adequate power for each of the aforementioned sizes.

This type of drive guarantees perfect movement of the door with any type of mixture, fluid, dry, semi-dry, heavy or viscous.

In the event of a power failure, the door/s can be opened by means of a manual lever pump which is supplied as standard on each hydraulic unit.

For this purpose, all solenoid valves are equipped with a spring return hand lever which allows easy opening or closing without having to resort to any uncomfortable manual push system using tools. 

The discharge doors are equipped with a tested sealing system by means of gaskets

horizontal and vertical preloaded and with the possibility of adjustment.

ACCESS FLAPS

Depending on the application, one or more access doors can be provided on the tank cover to carry out internal maintenance and cleaning operations.

Each door is supplied with 2 gas springs to allow easy and safe opening, gaskets around the entire perimeter to prevent dust from escaping and an accident prevention device

consisting of a mechanical lock with key transfer system coordinated with the lock handle supplied to be mounted on the door of the power panel which feeds the mixer.
